Katie really really REALLY liked the tank I made a couple weeks ago and kept dropping hints that she’d really like one, too. I said, “Cool beans, girl…knit one up!” She gave me that pathetic look and said flattering things about how I knit so much faster than she does, and how I knit things so well, and she rilly rilly wants a tank that I knit for her, blah blah blah.
The girl has learned that flattery is a powerful weapon.
I don’t think she even feels the tiniest bit of shame.
This is the Lillian tank top, knit at a smaller gauge than specified, with modifications to the top half of the garment to fit a 10 year old schmoozer.
