Curvature Pattern Release
I’m very excited to announce the release of my latest shawl pattern, Curvature.
Curvature is a half-circle shawl, designed with strong lines in easy lace. It’s meant to be flexible enough for a wide variety of fiber blends and dye schemes, and simple enough for a newer knitter who has a good handle on the knit and the purl stitch.
I stumbled upon a fantastic way to manufacture horizontal lines and used them to dramatically separate the sections.
An unusual shawl bind off helps with drape and reinforces the linear theme. I’m excited to make another one!
