Handspun Woodland Shawl

It’s not quite “Sheep to Shawl”, but probably as close as I’ll ever get.  I spun this yarn and knit it using this beautiful pattern, and couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

It came to about 5 feet long and 20 inches wide…very soft and cozy!

Following the crowd

I have admired these Noro Striped Scarves for a long time.  It’s a free pattern, found here. It is a combination of things that normally don’t go together:
fun + k1p1 forEVER
exciting + 6 feet of scarf
colorful + very few ends to finish off
mindless knitting + entertaining knitting

I have not been blogging this month.

I have been knitting! And crocheting…would you like to see?

I have one more biggish thing and a few littlish things to finish before Thursday, but the wonderful news is that no one is getting gifts still on the needles this year. Hooray!
